Melanie Ward has been a member at Trinity since 1994. She is a native of Cullowhee, North Carolina, where she attended Western Carolina University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Records Administration.

Melanie worked at Rex Hospital in the Medical Records and Quality Assurance Departments for five years.  The next seven years were spent at home, raising two children.  For nine years she has been teaching 3 and 4 year-olds at Trinity’s Week Day Preschool.

Mrs. Ward is currently serving as the Preschool Sunday School Division Director. She has held this position for over 10 years, served on various committees and lead teams, including seven years on the Vacation Bible School lead team (directing VBS for three of the years).  She also leads conferences about teaching preschool Sunday School.

Melanie has been married to Joe Ward since 1987.  They have two children, Kimberly and Samuel.  Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, visiting with friends, and reading.
