Benevolence Committee
This standing church committee confidentially assists church members and their families with financial emergencies.  The church budgets funds annually for this committee to use  at their discretion.  Whether it be rent, utilities, etc. this committee would like to know  about your situation and be of assistance.  For more information please click here to contact us by email.  

North Raleigh Ministries - This benevolence non-profit is supported by Trinity Baptist Church and several other churches in North Raleigh.  They are able to assist individuals and families who live in the following zip codes:  27609, 27612, 27613, 27614, 27615 and 27616.  If you are  experiencing an emergency financial situation or need food, please come to their location in the Pavilion Shopping Center at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Spring Forest Road (next to Tuesday Morning).  The address is 2431 Spring Forest Road #152, Raleigh, NC 27615.  Phone is 919-785-9911.  Hours of operation are from 10am-1pm each weekday. 

Angel Food Ministry – New Hope Baptist Church, Raleigh
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. There are NO qualifications, minimum income restrictions, or applications for the Angel Food Ministry. This food relief ministry is open to one and all. Anyone may purchase an unlimited number of boxes of Angel Food at our church and everyone is encouraged to participate!
  
Each month's menu is different and consists of fresh, frozen and packaged food. Angel Food is purchased from the nations top food suppliers. By buying food from first rate suppliers at substantial volume discounts, Angel Food Ministries is able to provide families with approximately $65 worth of quality nutritious food for $30. Generally, one box of Angel Food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. Angel Food Ministries does not use out-of-date food or inferior products.

If you would like to share your name and type of job you are seeking with persons in our church who may have contacts within the Raleigh area, please email us here.  These volunteers have agreed to receive this informaiton, pray over it, and share it with anyone that they think may be a resource to move you further along in your job search.   Please note, that your information will be passed on to the approriate person(s) after we have verified that you are a Trinity member, non-member emails will not receive a response.

Computer Lab – We have two internet connected computers that are available for use by those members seeking employment.  The Lab is available from 8:30-4:00pm Monday-Friday.  You must sign in at the church office for access.

Prayer – There are many at TBC who pray for those in need in our congregation.  We  publish a weekly prayer list for their use.  If you would like your name put on the list, please click on this link.  You will be able to send an email to the person responsible for compiling the list.  
 
Budgeting Assistance – Several individuals who are accountants or financial planners in  our church have offered to assist persons with assessing income and expenses, and setting  up a workable individual or family budget.  Please click on this link which will enable you to send an email requesting assistance.  You will be contacted by one of our volunteers. 
 
Pastoral and Professional Counseling – Our pastors are good listeners.  They can hear   your story and help you consider alternatives for the next steps.  They will also pray with  you.  If needed they can also give you contact information on professional counselors in  our area that are committed Christians who are available to work with you and your  family.  To set up an appointment with one of our pastors, please call the church office at  787-3740.
