Activities for Adults include
Jesus said the greatest commandment is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with allyour soul and with all your mind.” The second is “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”.(Matthew 22: 37-39) Life-long learning through studying and experiencing God’s word in the midst of the fellowship of believers helps Christians continue to grow spiritually as they know God and themselves better with every stage of life. Life-long response to God’s continual calling of servanthood to humanity enables Christians to put their faith to work in a world that desperately needs God’s touch. To these two ends the Adult Ministries of Trinity Baptist Church is committed. Trinity recognizes that “adult” is a broad classification with a variety of growth needs to consider. From 20s to 90s, our adults bring special life-gifts and experiences to our family of faith which strengthen the whole. Intergenerational relationships are encouraged and celebrated as we learn and grow together in unity with God and each other. At the same time, focused programming seeks to meet the needs of the various age groups and family structures. In the pages to come, I hope that you will find opportunities to “touch your toe to the water” as well as “dive in”. The target of all that we do is growth in relationship with God through Jesus Christ so that we might more clearly hear and respond positively to God’s calling to literally be His hands, feet and voice in our daily lives. Jesus wasn’t kidding when he said, “whenever you have (been a servant) to (another human in need), you have done it unto me”. (Matthew 25:40)
