What is WIHN?
With the support of churches like Trinity, the Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network provides professional case management as well as food, shelter, and transportation for homeless families with children as they work hard to restore their independence. WIHN is one of the few agencies in the area committed to helping homeless families stay together.

As part of our ongoing commitment as a Host Church for WIHN, our Trinity family extends an invitation to WIHN guests to make our church their home for a week— four times   during the year. 

Our guests will be hosted by many TBC     volunteers—van drivers, dinner hosts, overnight hosts / hostesses, recreation leaders, laundry washers, and many others.  An ongoing TBC Lead Team plans the weeks.

To help you select the volunteer opportunity best suited to your gifts, we offer the enclosed information about the types of volunteer positions  available and about the WIHN program.      

A sign-up board is posted in the sanctuary Narthex prior to each host week. Please contact the coordinators listed if you have any questions.
